The US Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program has been driving construction of environmentally sound and sustainable projects more than ever before. While the US Green Building Council does not certify or endorse individual products or materials, how they’re made and where you source them can help your project meet its LEED certification objective.
With up to 60% total recycled content in our steel products (no less than 25%), and our North Carolina based manufacturing plant, specifying Penco on a project can contribute directly to earning Materials & Resources credits.
We’ve even set up a dedicated support for architects, contractors and distributors seeking complete LEED information. Complete our LEED Information Request Form (below) and we’ll respond with a document tailored to the project that details how we can contribute to certification.
